Boy Scout Troop 103
Welcome to the online home of Boy Scout Troop 103. Since 1925, Troop 103 of Florence, Massachusetts has endeavored to provide a strong year-round Scouting program utilizing the ideals and methods of the Boy Scouts
of America.

We are chartered by Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton (formerly Our Lady of the Annunciation) Roman Catholic Church of Florence, Massachusetts. We meet weekly on Wednesdays during the school year in the church hall from
7:00-8:30p.

Troop 103 of Florence, Massachusetts is a member of the Western Massachusetts Council of the Boy Scouts of America and part of the Council's Metacomet District. This photo is a wonderful reminder of Troop 103’s past and present as well as our participation in Scouting in America. As 2010 is now upon us, the Scouts, leaders, adults and parents of Troop 103 can enjoy celebrating a number of milestones in our history.

Let’s start by reflecting what these young men in 1950 had to celebrate:

• Troop 103 - 25^th Anniversary, 17 Eagle Scouts so far

• Jack Dunphy is in this picture, he was Eagle Scout #17 - 1949

• Boy Scouts of America – 40^th Anniversary

• BSA National Jamboree in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania – second national jamboree with over 47,000 participants

What we have to celebrate in 2010:

• Troop 103 - 85^th Anniversary, 167 Eagle Scouts and counting, who will join this distinguished group this year?

• Jack Dunphy still attending Troop meetings, 66^th year in Scouting

• Boy Scouts of America – 100^th Anniversary

• BSA National Jamboree in Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia – seventeenth national jamboree celebrating the 100^th anniversary of the BSA
